A musician’s press portraits, shot between parked buses and corrugated sheds at the end of a Red Hook afternoon.
We brought one shirt and kept it on. The location did the styling: hard light through the slats, warm metal, long shadows.
“I hate having my picture taken. Ten minutes in we were talking about records and I forgot the camera. My label used the first frame he sent.”
